In fact, I personally think that KLD is a good software strategy. It is a bit similar to Microsoft's market approach. through an open mechanism, the software can be fully tested and expanded, the software company's profit mainly comes from the pre-installed market (all-in-one machine) and services. Although the software and map of KLD are still incomplete, the Analysis and Improvement of the road test results on the network will be conducive to the improvement of the map and software quality.
KLD now has a good map (cjt and four-dimensional roads are still good in the city), and there are many information points, but the plan has been criticized by many people. However, after a recent test, I found that the problem of poor KLD planning, in addition to the lack of software algorithms, is more important to the inaccuracy of Map Quality. Some aisles that are not suitable for driving are not removed from the KLD map or even defined as important roads. This is the crux of KLD's planned detour.

I drove home and used the shortest path of KLD to choose a road, however, it was introduced into a road that was almost unsuitable for driving. After being imported to Kyushu Avenue, the road was on its way. The reason for wrong planning is that A-B is an abandoned Road (only enough for a car), B-C is a leading road to the main road (two cars more than enough ), but the definition of KLD A-B is better than the road section of B-C! The correct path cannot be selected regardless of the recommended or fastest setting.
Because map labeling is not accurate, no matter how users adjust the planning, it is not reasonable. In fact, the same situation occurs on route66. Although four-dimensional maps are much more refined than KLD, but there are still problems with inaccurate road definitions (for example, good roads in the city and poor rural roads are defined as paths ).
Therefore, the root cause of low overall quality of domestic GPS software is still on the map. Hyping software functions, interfaces, versions, information points, electronic eyes, and so on are short-sighted. GPS software companies that make maps really have a bright future.
