I9100/I9100G how to upgrade the mobile phone software to Android 4.0

Step 1. Click [Software Update]

GT-I9100/GT-I9100G has now supported FOTA upgrade Android 4.0, the specific method please refer to the following operation:

1. On the standby page, click the menu key in the lower left corner and select Settings ].

2. Move the screen up, click "about mobile phone", and then click "software update]

 
Step 2. Enter the Samsung account

At this time, the mobile phone screen will prompt "Samsung account Terms of Use", click "accept", and enter the "Samsung account ].

Note: If you do not have a Samsung account, register it first and then log on.

 
Step 3. Download the updated software

Click Update. The "Software Update" dialog box is displayed. Select the method to download the software.

 
Step 4. Install and update the software

Click Download. After the updated software is downloaded, click install to install the software.

 
Step 5. Restart the mobile phone

After the update software is installed, the mobile phone restarts and the mobile phone software can be upgraded to Android 4.0.

After the mobile phone restarts, you can go to "Settings" of the mobile phone and select "about mobile phone" to view the current system version of your mobile phone:

1. Maintain sufficient battery power during software upgrade on the mobile phone

2. The mobile phone software upgrade will lose important data stored on the phone, such as phone book, short messages, photos, and video files. We recommend that you back up the data before the software upgrade.

3. Do not use the mobile phone during software upgrade

4. Software upgrade via phone card on mobile phone will consume a certain amount of traffic on the phone card. We recommend that you use WLAN wireless Internet access on your mobile phone for software upgrade.
