IBM INotes 9 Enterprise collaboration new capabilities: Integration with IBM connections files and IBM docs

Integration with IBM Connections Files and IBM Docs is a shiny new feature offered in iNotes9.0. IBM Connections Files is a platform for enterprise-level information sharing and team collaboration. IBM Docs is also an enterprise-class online file editing system. iNotes9.0 and their integration effectively improve the internal efficiency of the enterprise, but also solve the sending, receiving large attachments caused by the slow message speed, the problem of limited mail space.

How do you implement this function? Your enterprise needs to deploy IBM Connections 4.0 CR2 and IBM Docs R1.0. More than 0 versions, and you need to upgrade your Domino server to 9.0.

In this article, we used IBM Connections Files and IBM Docs Server as D854/IBM Concord80.cn.ibm.com,domino server.

Configuration of the integrated environment

We need seven steps to configure the integration environment.

Configure single sign-on authentication Mode (LTPA)

Enable integration features

Configuring the Http-proxy servlet

Configure user Information

Creating Policy Documents

Specify Policy for user

Restart Domino Server

Configure session-based authentication (LTPA)

INotes is required to authenticate when interacting with IBM Connections Files or IBM Docs. Therefore, in order to facilitate end-user use, reduce the number of password input, the Domino server to configure the single sign-on authentication mode.

Import LTPA Keys

Import the LTPA key from IBM Docs with the IBM Connections Files integrated environment into Domino 9.0 and configure SSO for Domino 9.0.

Open IBM Domino Administrator

Log on as an administrator and connect to the Domino server

Click the "Configuration" tab, then click "All Server Documents", select "Web" and select "Create Web SSO Configuration" as shown in Figure 1.

In Web SSO Configuration, set Configuration Name and click Keys->import WebSphere LTPA Key as shown in Figure 2.
