"Sohu It News" Beijing time June 27 news, according to foreign media reports, a U.S. federal court judge in Friday dismissed the IBM request for the former mergers and acquisitions business Tadavid Johnson (David Johnson) could not join Dell's lawsuit request.
IBM said it would appeal the ruling. IBM has asked the court to issue a temporary injunction banning Johnson from joining Dell. IBM alleges that Johnson joined Dell in violation of a non-compete agreement with the company, and Johnson may have used IBM's business secrets to assist Dell in its business.
Johnson worked for IBM for 27 years before jumping to Dell earlier this year. Johnson does not agree with IBM about the number of business secrets it holds.
The court will continue to hear IBM's case against Johnson. IBM also added a lawsuit this week, claiming that Johnson abused the company's resources to open a venture capital firm.
IBM recently sued another senior executive, Mark Papermaster, who jumped to Apple, Pumast. Both sides earlier this year to shake hands, sent Pumast April to join Apple.
