Recently, on the IBM X3850 cabinet server, install oracle10g X64 database under the Windows Server X64 operating system environment. Made almost 8 hours of work, sigh than the redhat installed on the pit Dad (also may not be on the server on the Internet, restart the server for 10 minutes of the reason), and now the various types of problems encountered, collation as follows:
First, the installation process flashed and died
Reason: On the console that pops up, it shows that the current system is 6.0, not the changed 6.1.
Workaround: Place the installer on a different partition and install it as long as it is displayed as 6.1 on the console. The fundamental solution, has not been debugged out, if there is debugging come back to me.
Second, the installation of the database instance of the steps, to 2% stop not moving
Cause: oracle10g supports up to 4 CPUs on a single server, up to 36 cores. IBM X3850 is a 4 cpu,64 core.
Workaround: Number of processors, Msconfig, advanced options, CMD-------# 36. If you change back, you will get an error.
Three. Steps to install the DB instance, with warning:
Enterprise Manager configuration failed due to the following error-the DB instance is not available.
Workaround: In the cmd console, DBCA delete the DB instance and add it again.
Four. To install a DB instance, prompt:

Cause: Due to the expiration of the CA certificate authorization expires on the Enterprise Manager database control component, the certificate expiration date is December 31, 2010, and this issue occurs after 2011 installation of this version of the database. The official solution is to patch the patch 8350262.
Here's how to fix it:
1, install or upgrade the database to the 10.2.0.4 process to ignore this error to continue the installation, the creation of the database is not affected.
2. Use Opatch to apply this patch to the Oracle installation
Set Oracle_home (E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1) and ORACLE_SID system environment variables (if you do not want to change the environment variable can use set, explained below), and then the%orace_home%\ Opatch add a patch to the PATH environment variable. The steps are as follows:
A. 8350262 unzip, open the Cmd window, enter the extracted directory, execute
B. Cmd>set oracle_home= (your installation directory) \product\10.2.0\db_1
C. Cmd>set oracle_sid= (name from the time you installed ORACLE, don't say you forgot)
d. cmd (enter the patch location, e.g. "D:\8350262") >%oracle_home%\opatch\opatch Apply
3. After applying patch success, reconfigure EM dbconsole
Cmd>emctl Secure Dbconsole-reset
Follow the prompts to enter the administrator password (tested as Sysman's password), then there will be two confirmation requests, both of which are input y
4. Restart Dbconsole
Cmd>emctl Start Dbconsole
If oc4j Configuration issue is reported. D:ORACLEPRODUCT10.2.0DB_1/OC4J/J2EE/OC4J_DBCONSOLE_192.168.1.103_ORCL not found. Error. In the installation directory, copy the OC4J_DBCONSOLE_HOSTNAME_ORCL folder under Java EE, rename it to OC4J_DBCONSOLE_192.168.1.103_ORCL, and copy the Hostname_ under Db_1. ORCL folder, renamed to 192.168.1.103_ORCL.
finally restart Dbconsole.
5. If still not available, re-create the following EM
The steps are as follows:
Here is the process of EMCA creating EM, which is a rough demonstration:
A. Delete the build failed EM archive (if the time exceeds 15 minutes has not completed, restart the computer and then execute): C:\Documents and Settings\administrator>emca-deconfig Dbcontrol Db-repos Drop
B. Re-creating the EM Archive: C:\Documents and settings\administrator>emca-config Dbcontrol db-repos Create
Note: The management repository is in Safe mode, and Enterprise Manager data is encrypted in this mode. The encryption key has been placed in the file E:\app\Administrator\product\11.1.0\db_1\PC-200901030636_verafzy\sysman\config\emkey.ora. Be sure to back up this file, because if this file is lost, the encrypted data will not be available.
C. Build success, you can go to the browser below to login to the EM management platform!
