IE 11 makes it easier for visually impaired people to browse

Microsoft IE11 has brought good news to people with visual impairments. It is reported that Microsoft IE11 combined with the screen-assisted reading feature released last year, can greatly help users with visual impairments to surf the internet. When visually impaired users are writing web-based e-mail or online documents, the screen-assisted reading feature automatically reports misspelled words or, when the user uses voice commands to have Windows Narrator perform a backspace delete key, to report the user's deleted letter.

Microsoft also mentions the format of e-mail or other documents. For example, the screen-assisted reading feature uses voice to tell the user "bold" and "bold End" to prompt the user which paragraph of text is highlighted in bold.

In addition, Microsoft has improved IE11 to help visually impaired people using input editor, Input Method Editor (IME) supports the use of traditional English keyboard input East Asian languages, such as Chinese, Korean, Japanese and so on.
