In the IE6 era, browsers did not have tabs paging through this feature. Starting from IE7, IE browser has introduced the TAB function, allowing us to open multiple Web pages at the same time in an IE window, this function has been extended to the current IE10.
In IE7, IE8, this function has always been the same as other browsers. By the IE9, Microsoft has made improvements to the tab feature, introducing the function of the tag group. But in the IE7 to IE9 era, browsers must turn on this feature. By the IE10, Microsoft gives users more options to turn on or off the tab function. If you've always missed IE6 that window browsing mode, you can disable the tab browsing feature in IE10.
Action method:
1, open the desktop version of IE10, click the "Settings" icon, and then click "Internet Options" in the Drop-down menu. As shown in the following illustration:
2, in the Pop-up Internet Options Settings window, click the following image of the "tab" button.
3, in the Pop-up tab Browsing Settings window, according to the actual need to choose to turn on or off the tab browsing function. The default condition is on, and this example uncheck "Enable tab browsing (requires restart of internet Explorer)" and click OK. As shown in the following illustration:
4, finally close the IE10 browser, and then reopen the settings can take effect.
