If SELINUXTYPE is treated as SELINUX by mistake, the value is changed to disabled. As a result, the operating system service is started and cannot enter the single-user mode. selinuxtypeselinux
Environment: Redhat 6.4
ORACLE11g RAC
Disable the operating system firewall and SELinux before installing ORACLE11g.
1. Disable the firewall: iptables-F ------------ clear the firewall policy
Service iptables stop ------- disable the Firewall service
Chkconfig iptables off ------ disable Firewall Service from startup
2. Disable SELinux
Modify the value of the "selinux" parameter in the configuration file/etc/SELINUX/config,
# SELINUX = enforcing
SELINUX = disabled
However, if "SELINUXTYPE" is mistaken as "SELINUX", the SELINUXTYPE parameter is set:
# SELINUXTYPE = targeted
SELINUXTYPE = disabled
Symptom:
Prompt upon restart:
Unable to load selinux policy. machine is in enforcing mode. halting now. kernel panic-not syncing: attempted to kill init!
Solution:
When the system starts, press 'e' to go To the grub editing page, edit the grub menu, use the up/down key to select a line of "kernel", and press 'e' to go to editing, add "enforcing = 0" at the end, press "enter" to save the settings and return to the previous layer. Press the 'B' key to continue boot and boot normally. You have received the configuration information in "/etc/selinux/config. Modify "SELINUX = disabled" as needed ".
