IIS backup and Transplantation

I. IIS backup

Here, the so-called backup refers to copying all the settings in the WWW or FTP site of the specified IIS server to an mdb database, and then saving the database back as needed. Here, we need to use IIS Export Utility Version 3.0 (IISEU). For example, to back up the IIS server of the current computer, perform the following steps:

1. In the main IISEU window, enter "localhost" (or the computer name or IP address of the Local Machine) in the text box "Import from" (from) on the left ), then, click "Lists Sites" (Site List) on the right of the text box, and select a type in "WWW" or "FTP" to go to "Available Sites" (operable site) click the site to be backed up to select it.

Note: IISEU is a shared software. The only difference between it and the official version is that in the shared version, only one site can be selected at a time. In the official version, you can select multiple sites at a time.

2. Select the "Database" window under "Export to" (output to) on the right, make sure that the correct IIS version is selected on both sides (IIS5 and IIS4), click the "Export" button under it, and then follow the prompts to complete the backup.
