IIS installation and configuration under win7

The default document in IIS is important. It is the page such as htm or asp on this server, which has a sequential order of inheritance. If the above file is not found in the default path on the server, then you can continue to find the existing file and enter localhost to access the so-called default webpage.

If a new website is added and the path is set in advanced settings, the folder of this website must have the IUSER access permission. This is to enter localhost to access the default webpage of this new website, for example, you can put the website folder under drive C, that is, the root directory. If you put the folder under the desktop and other directories, the system reports an error of unauthorized access during running.

Note: If the default port settings of the website are the same in advanced settings, you need to stop a website and start another website. If the ports are different, you can start the website directly.

Browsing must be accessed from a new browser process, because accessing the Default User in an opened browser will buffer the memory. If some modifications are made, browsing the default web page in an opened browser uses memory. The new browser process can modify the settings with fallow.
