Tutorial Sharing:

Easter is a lovely spring festival, known for its traditional eggs. It is often associated with warm, rich colours and a spring-like mood. In this tutorial, we talk about making the Easter eggs for this course by using basic shapes, path Finder, and some new AI tools. (is not a little look forward to it ~ ~ ~)
Of course, in addition to the production of Easter eggs, these techniques can also be used to make any type of planar icons or plane banner. Through Envato Market (a Foreign design resources website, interested students can go over the wall to see more resources, very good!) You can find many examples of similar graphic graphics in order to inspire more inspiration!
1. Make a festive Easter icon
First step:
Let's start by making the basic shape of an egg! Use the Ellipse tool (L) to get a 70x70px circle. Use the Direct selection tool (A) to select the anchor points on the side and drag them down a little to make the bottom shape swell. Then select the top anchor point and drag it upwards to make the point at the top of the egg.

Step Two:
We will use a bright spring color with warm tones, and you can use the Eyedropper tool (I) to hold down the SHIFT key and get the color from the screenshot below. The basic type of egg filled with yellow, in order to later we may use this color, can copy copy (CTRL+C->CTRL+B) one.
Now let's add some decorative elements to the top of the egg. Use the rectangular tool (M) to make a 70x15px blue shape.

Step Three:
Using the line Segment tool () tool, hold down the SHIFT key to make a horizontal 3pt (3-point width)
The Pink line shape. Let's align all the shapes and eggs. Select all the shape elements (Ctrl + a) and hold down the ALT key to click on the egg (hold down the ALT key to select it as a key object, and you'll see a thick area of selection around the egg.) Enter the alignment panel to click Horizontally centered.

Fourth Step:
This step allows us to give you the pink line styling. Select it and perform an effect-> distort-> sawtooth. Set the size to 5px, each 7 point as a ridge, and smooth point.
Then execute the object-> Extension command, and the effect is applied to the shape.

Fifth Step:
Add a rectangle to the bottom of the egg and fill it with green. Now let's have those parts of the rectangle that lie outside the egg. We will use a new tool for AI: Planer tools (Shift+n).
Use this tool and then paint on the part you want to delete. Repeat the same action in the other places you don't want.
We'll try another way to remove what you don't need later in the process of making another egg.

Sixth step:
Select the eggs that have been made and perform the object-> extension. Then select the yellow and pink wavy lines in the middle of the egg and separate them in the Pathfinder so that they become two separate parts.

Seventh Step:
Fill in the shape of the upper part just separated with a nice pink. Use the Ellipse tool (L) to make a 5x5px circle. Hold down the Alt+shift key and drag the circle to the right, and then copy a few.

Eighth Step:
Now the basic shape of the egg has come out. Let's add a flat-style shadow that covers half the eggs. Put all the eggs in a group (ctrl+g), copy and paste on the front layer (ctrl+c->ctrl+f). Keep the copied part selected, execute the merge command in the Pathfinder, and make the egg a key object.
Select the contour of the line and egg and separate them in the Pathfinder.
Remove half, and the other half in multiplication mode, semitransparent display.

Nineth Step:
Let's make an egg again!
We already have a basic type because we made a copy at the first step (remember?). Move it (copy) to one side and fill with an orange color. Add decorative elements to the top of it, let's look at it in a different way (we hide unwanted parts). Copy this basic type again (CTRL+C->CTRL+F) and move it to the top-level (shift+ctrl+]). (Recommended beginners must be familiar with these basic shortcuts ~ Translator warm Tips)
Select all the elements and right-click to add a clipping mask! This step is for you to do!

Tenth step:
Let's add more decorative elements to this egg! Make two 5x5px circles on the yellow stripe of the egg and move them to the edge of the yellow stripe. Select the two circles to perform the hybrid tool (M) or the object-> mixed-> generation command (optional). Then open the Blending Options window (object-> mixed-> blending option) to set the interval value of the specified step to 3.
Object-> extended command to this mixed group. Then add more circles to the top of the egg and fill the yellow.

11th Step:
When you are satisfied with the effect of the present, add a translucent flattened shadow to the half of the egg.
Combine eggs. Use the rounded Rectangle tool to create a bright green background for our icons.
Make a square with the rectangle tool (M) and use the selection tool (V) to rotate the square 45 ° by holding down the SHIFT key.
Add a linear gradient from bright green to white to fill the rectangle, and set the overlay mode to multiply the blending mode (that is, create a translucent long projection).

12th Step:
Copy this bright green background and move the projection between the two copied shapes. Use the clipping mask to shadow the part of the long projection that we don't want.
It's great! Our first icon has been made! Let's go on to the next one!

1. Make a cute bunny icon
First step:
Make a 70x70px gray circle for the head of a rabbit. Utility Direct Selection Tool (A) move the anchor point on the edge down a little bit to make the head feel slightly squeezed.
Now we're going to make ears. A 15x50px ellipse is produced using the Ellipse tool (L). Move the anchor points on either side up a little, making the upper part of the ear a little wider. Select this shape to perform the object-> path-> offset path command, set the offset value to -5px, and the rest of the options by default. In this way we create a smaller ear shape in the inside of the ear.

Step Two:
Fill the inner part of the ear with pink, and give the two parts of the ear a group and move to the bottom (shift+ctrl+[). Double-click the Rotate tool (R) to open the Options window and set the rotation angle value to -20°.

Step Three:
Use the Mirror tool (O) to mirror the options horizontally, and click Copy to get the ear on the other side of the head. You can group these two ears and align them with the head and center them all.
Flatten the head a little more.

Fourth Step:
Use the Oval tool (L) to make a pair of shiny black eyes with white highlights and a circle to represent the nose. Use the Cutter (C) tool to click on the anchor points on either side of the nose to separate the nose into two halves.

Fifth Step:
Remove the upper part and make the preserved part into a cute rabbit nose. Press the X key to swap the fill and stroke colors. Set the stroke to 2px and change the width in the top control panel. Copy two noses, make them thinner and lighter, and form the mouth of a rabbit as shown in the screenshot below.

Sixth step:
Let's finish our rabbit drawing by adding a tiny beard to the head! Use the line segment tool () to make a vertical 9px fill, 1pt stroke segment. Rotate the whiskers a little and add them to the sides of the rabbit's face.

Seventh Step:
Add a flat wind projection directly to one half of the rabbit's head (as we have done before). Using the rounded Rectangle tool to make a background and a translucent long projection, our drawing of this icon ends.
