1. Placement of images

3. Add gradient
Select layer 2, and apply a two-color radial gradient to the drawn path. One color is set to M5 (CMYK color), and the other color is set to C26, M86, and Y44. Use the gradient tool in the toolbox to drag the image from the center to the top right corner. This will reset the gradient position, as shown in figure 4.
4. Application Mode: front-and-back hybrid mode
Now, in the opacity palette, change the hybrid mode to "opening the front and bottom". Note that this mode will create the effect of pivot to the bottom.
5. Spiral surface at the bottom
Select the spiral surface path at the bottom of the conch, that is, the part above the side of the gradient just filled, and use another radial gradient, one of which is set to C21, the other color is C26, M86, and Y44. 6. Upper spiral surface
Select the spiral surface path on the upper layer of the drawn spiral surface, fill in another two-color radial gradient, one color is set to M5, the other color is set to C33, M95, Y62, see Figure 7. After filling, change the hybrid mode to "stacked front ".
7. Use a straw tool
Select other unfilled paths and click on the path drawn in step 1 using the "straw tool" to copy the filled gradient, as shown in figure 8. For better results, you can use the gradient tool to change the gradient position of each image.
8. Icon background
Use the rectangle tool to draw a rectangle and apply the 25pt rounded corner (select the menu command "effect | stylized | rounded corner", as shown in Figure 9 ).
9. Add shadow effect
Select the menu command "effect | style | projection" and apply the settings shown in Figure 10.
10. Apply gradient to the rounded rectangle
Use the gradient tool to apply a three-color gradient to the rounded rectangle, as shown in Figure 11. 1st colors are set to K0, 2nd colors are set to K16, and 3rd colors are set to K13.
11. Add a new stroke
In order to produce a same luminous effect, we need to add a new stroke. On the "appearance" palette, click the arrow in the upper right corner and select the "add new stroke" command from the pop-up menu, as shown in Figure 12.

In the appearance palette, select the newly added stroke, and click the white color palette in the palette to set the stroke color to white, in the "stroke" palette, set the stroke width to 4 PT, and set the oblique limit to 4 times, click align inside the stroke on the right of alignment stroke, as shown in Figure 13.
12. White background
Since the hybrid mode is set to "stacked bottom of the front slice", when you place the conch on the top of the icon background, you should be able to see the "transparent" to the bottom through the conch. Check whether this effect is correct. If yes, you can add a white background for conch.
For ease of operation, first select the background of the rounded rectangle icon and press Ctrl + 2 to temporarily lock it. Select the conch image and press Ctrl + C to copy the complete conch image to the clipboard. Now the conch image is still Selected. Select the menu command "window | path finder" to open the "Path Finder" palette, press and hold the Alt key, and click "add to shape area" in the palette, as shown in Figure 14. These paths can be added together and expanded to common paths. After completion, change the fill color of the path to White, and set the stroke color to none.
