In Python, a string, a tuple is an immutable type, and a list and dictionary are mutable types.

The re-assignment of the immutable type is equivalent to re-pointing to the new address with the previous variable name, and the value of the variable stored in the address is the value of the re-assignment

The function ID provided in Python allows you to see where the variable is stored in memory

>>> a = 10>>> ID (a)25407616>>> a = 6>>> ID (a)25407712

Also, for arbitrary shaping between 0-256 and a slightly shorter string, the same value, in Python, is the same as the memory location.
