Implementation of String Array definition in C Language

Method 1: Use a pointer array:

# Include <string. h>
# Include <stdio. h>
# Include <stdlib. h>

Int main ()
{
Char * test [] = {"this is a test", "test 2 ",""};
Int I = 0;

While (strcmp (test [I], "")! = 0)
Puts (test [I ++]);

System ("PAUSE ");
Return 0;
}

This method is relatively simple, but the problem is that the string is a constant and cannot be modified. Of course, this problem can also be solved. For example, assign a value to an array and assign the first address of the char array to a pointer.
Method 2: Use a 2-dimensional array:

# Include <string. h>
# Include <stdio. h>
# Include <stdlib. h>
Int main ()
{
Char test [] [20] = {"this is a test", "test 2 ",""};
Int I = 0;
While (strcmp (test [I], "")! = 0)
Puts (test [I ++]);
System ("PAUSE ");
Return 0;
}
In this case, the problem is a waste of space!
