Import as/400 DB2 data into Access

Microsoft Access is the database software that users use frequently, and it is easy to get DB2 data on as/400 with ODBC.

The specific operation is as follows: (the procedure is described by the win2000+office2000 environment, the user has configured the ODBC data source).

1. Open Microsoft Access and create a new database.

2. Press the right mouse button on the table, then click the "Import" menu item with the left mouse button, as shown in Figure 1. The "Import" screen is then ejected and "ODBC Database ()" is selected in "File type", as shown in Figure 2.

3, on the pop-up "select data source" screen, select the "Machine Data source" tab. As shown in Figure 3.

4, in Figure 3, select the matching ODBC data source (for example: ACCESSDB2), with the mouse click "OK" button, pop-up "Import objects" screen, select the database file you want to import, with the mouse click "OK" button, complete the import of the database, as shown in Figure 4, Figure 5.
