Import data from oracle10g to oracle9i Database

Generally, imp statements cannot be imported. Because the database versions are inconsistent, data can only be imported from a lower version to a later version. Otherwise, data cannot be imported.

I have imported a later version into a later version, and I am using the following method:

1. Generate a script for the table in oracle10g. The generation tool I used is toad.

Database-> export-> table scripts

Then select generate all.

2. Execute this script in oracle9i to create a table.

3. import data to Oracle9i. First, create a db links

Select create dbLinks. In the dialog box that appears, select the database you want to import and enter the user name and password. Last executed.

Finally, execute the data insert statement.

Insert into oracle9 table name @ dbLinks name

SELECT * FROM oracle10 table name

This method can only import one table at a time. Although the method is dead, it can still import data! OK to complete...
