Import ITDB Installation Tutorial

1. Preface

In order to solve the company's IT asset management issues, mainly in the warehouse section, I decided to try to import ITDB.

2,ITDB Introduction

ITDB is a web-based office environment IT assets Equipment management information system, mainly for IT equipment, but not limited to this.

ITDB can help you manage:

· Hardware : Specs, warranties, S/n, IP info, what other h/w relates/connects to this h/w, item status, ...

· Software : specs, license info, ...

· Relationship : where each software is installed, license QTY, component relations, ...

· Invoice : When, from whom, how much is each asset purchased, who was the contract, attached documents, ...

· Agency/Organization : Vendors, manufacturers, buyers, Contacts ...

· location : Where are each asset located, which, which rack row if applicable ...

· Responsible Person : who have what or who's responsible for

· Machine Frame : Display rack layout with items assigned to each rack row

· Label Printing to tag all your assets, from phones and laptops to cooling units and UPS. Easily define new label layouts.

3. Installation Instructions

3.1, installing the Auxiliary kit (optional)

Yum Install vim wget

3.2. Install the basic package (required)

Yum Install httpd php* sqlite*

3.3, setting httpd Service default startup

Check whether the current httpd service is booting by default

3.6, download ITDB Package

3.7, package decompression to www and directory

CP Itdb-1.12.tar.gz/var/www/html/cd/var/www/html/tar ZXVF ITDB-1.12.TAR.GZMV itdb/*.

3.8, database renaming

CD DATA/CP pure.db itdb.db

3.9, debugging based on browser prompts

hints need to be modified the owner of the Itdb.db and gives the owner permission to write, Correct the permissions according to the prompt method:

Chown Apache Itdb.dbls-l

Tip You need to modify the owner of the data directory and give the owner write permission to correct the permissions according to the prompt method:

Chown Apache. /data

Repeatedly follow the prompts to modify until you see the following interface is successful:

User name: admin

Password: admin
