Be careful not to open Word documents of unknown sources, especially email attachments or Word Format collected on the Internet.ArticleThis defect is found in almost all word versions used in the market (2000 ~ 2003 and so on. There is no official timetable for the release of patches.
According to Microsoft official instructions, the workaround of the vulnerability is:
"Do not open or save Word files that you receive from un-trusted sources
Or that you receive unexpectedly from trusted sources. This
Vulnerability cocould be exploited when a user opens a specially crafted
Word file. "Do not open a Word file from an unreliable source, or a reliable source but not a word file that is expected to be received. This defect can be found when you open a specially crafted Word file... blah blah
Officially recommended actions include:
"We recommend that customers exercise extreme caution when they accept file transfers from both known and unknown sources. "We recommend that you be" extremely careful "when receiving a file transfer, whether it is from someone you know or not.
