Everyone who is engaged in development knows the source control, and they all know that source check in/check out is included in the source code management. But have you noticed that file control not only refers to source file control, but also requires version control for many documents or resources in our work and life.
For example, I have worked hard to write more than 80 pages of documents on the PC. As a result, a misoperation overwrites the documents into more than 80 pages of old documents ~~ If you do not have version control over your resources, what should you do at this time ?! Just like me looking for a corner to kneel down and shed tears silently. Who knows the pain in my heart ?? However, if I have version control, I will be very happy to get the latest version from version control, so there is no worries.
A lot of things are hard to remember. Although I know the importance of version control, I still ignore it.
