Importing data from MySQL to sqlserver2000

1. Download the ODBC driver of MySQL. Address: http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/3.51.html

2. Install the driver. Just click Next. You do not need to select any path.

3. Start MySQL and sqlserver2k

4. choose Control Panel> performance and maintenance> management tools to open "Data Source (ODBC)" (this is the classification view, if it is a classic view, open the management tool directly from the Control Panel), the ODBC data source Manager appears

5. Click "add". In the displayed dialog box, select "MySQL ODBC 3.51 driver" and click "finish"

6. the connector/ODBC configuration dialog box is displayed. Enter the relevant information and click OK.

7. Return to the ODBC data source Manager. A data source has been added to the user data source. click confirm to exit.

8. open DTS, select "MySQL ODBC 3.51 driver" from the "Data Source" selected in step 2, and select the data source you just created from "User/System DNS, enter the MySQL user name and password, and click Next.

10. If you do not need to use a query to specify the data to be transmitted, click Next.

11. Select the table to copy and click Next.

12. Check "Run now" and click Next.

13. Click "finish" to bring up the progress dialog box. If "XX tables are successfully copied from MySQL to Microsoft SQL Server" appears a moment later, the operation is successful.
