When you browse through a Web page created from a template, you can see that some content that is the same as the template content has changed.
A template is a special kind of document that you can use to create a new Web page. Some areas in the template are not editable, called locked areas, and some are editable, called editable regions. You can edit the contents of the editable area to get a new page that is similar but different from the template. The biggest advantage of creating a Web page with a template is that all of the pages created by using the template when you modify the template can be automatically updated one at a time, which greatly increases the efficiency of the maintenance of the Web page update.
