In Vm, Linux shares the Internet with the host's XP system (through NAT)

Set local connection:

After the VM is installed, there will be two more virtual network cards, for example:

Set the local connection to Internet sharing, and enter the IP address that can access the Internet normally. Configure vmnet8 to automatically obtain the IP address.

Click the NIC-like icon in the lower-right corner of the VM software and set it in the interface:

Principle: Think of a host as a vro (essentially). A local connection is the WAN port connecting the vro to the Internet, while vmnet8 is the internal port of the vro. The NAT Function is implemented by VM software.

Vmnet1The IP address will be obtained through DHCP. You can stop it without having to worry about it!

In Linux, choose system Settings> network. Click the page shown in the figure below:

Double-click the icon to display the following interface (settings ):

Select "automatically obtain IP Address", OK! Restart the Linux system.

Open your browser and you will be able to access the Internet...
