In Windows 7, how does one connect to a local printer?

Add a local printer as follows:

1. First, we need to install the printer driver;

2. Then we enter "start "--. "Device and printer" can also be found if the control panel is not found;



3. On the device and printer page, click "add printer", as shown in the following figure.



4. Click "local printer" as shown in the following figure;



5. Then we will select "Printer Interface" here, as shown in the following figure;



6. Select the printer manufacturer and model details, as shown in the following figure;



7. Now, select the currently installed driver, as shown in the following figure;



8. Then we enter the name of the printer. This is just for your convenience;



9. Then, click share printer;



10. Now that you have added a local printer, you can use the print test page to test it.
