In Windows, if you want to quickly run a program, we will think of creating a program shortcut on the desktop. however, if there are too many lnk instances on the desktop, our search will be affected, and the startup speed of the machine will be affected. if you open some programs integrated by the system, such as Notepad. you can directly enter winkey + R and notepad. can a general program be opened in this way? The answer is yes.
By default, if you run the command of the Target Program directly in the system running box, the Windows system will automatically search for the Windows Installation Directory and the system32 subdirectory under the directory, check whether these directories contain the command files to be executed. If the files cannot be found, the system will automatically display an error message.
But in fact, many applications installed in the system will not be automatically installed in the Windows Installation Directory and the system32 subdirectory. In this way, we cannot directly execute the Target Program command in the system running box, to quickly open the target program interface.
We can achieve this by modifying the Windows registry.
1. Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ App Paths in sequence. the App Paths sub-keys are the programs that can be opened directly in the system running box. we can add the path of the program to be opened quickly.

Let's take the qq program as an example to introduce it to you.
2. Right-click the App Paths key and click: New/item.

3. Enter the installation path of the qq program.

After confirming, you can directly open the program you want to open in the running box.
