In Linux, dual-head display is not supported. fn + f8 will be black and the solution cannot be returned.-Linux general technology-Linux technology and application information. The following is a detailed description. Symptom: by default, dual-head display is not supported after installation. fn + f8 will be black and cannot be returned.

Try: Then I tested several software, i810switch and i855crt, which had poor results. I855 has good functions, but it is a pity that it cannot work on i915 (even if I re-compile it, let it know the i915 card, it will not work ).

Solution: Later, I saw readme on intel's official website and learned several parameters. I can add it in xorg. conf.

Add the following to DEVICE:
Option "MonitorLayout" "CRT, LFP"
Option "Clone" "true"

If you have other requirements, read the readme carefully.
