In Linux, sqlplus cannot use up or down keys.

In Linux, sqlplus cannot use the up or down key. The first step is to install the readline package on the installation disc of readline centos. Find and install all packages starting with readline.

[Root @ oracle11g ~] # Rpm-ivh readline *

 

Step 2: Install rlwrap (download the http://utopia.knoware.nl at this address /~ Hlub/uck/rlwrap/# rlwrap)

[Root @ oracle11g ~] # Tar-zxvf rlwrap-0.37.tar.gz [root @ oracle11g ~] # Cd rlwrap-0.37 [root @ oracle11g rlwrap-0.37] #./configure [root @ oracle11g rlwrap-0.37] # make [root @ oracle11g rlwrap-0.37] # make install

Step 3: Use rlwrap when running sqlplus

[Root @ oracle11g rlwrap-0.37] # vi/home/oracle/. bash_profile

Alias sqlplus = 'maid sqlplus'
