After decompression, go to the cacti web page
Click Plugin Management to go To the plug-in installation interface. Click the arrow icon to install the plug-in:
After the installation is complete, reload the page and go to Settings to view the installed plugins. Click Mail/Dns and set the Mail sending information:
I am sending a mail via QQ mail. The SMTP Hostname is the smtp.qq.com server and mail.qq.com cannot be used because the receiving server port is 110 and the sending server port is 25.
Now, the SMTP protocol is used for sending and port 25, while the mail protocol is port 110 (I feel like this, I do not know whether it is accurate or not. If you are proficient, please advise)
After setting, save. Now you can click Send a Test Email in the upper-right corner. If the setting is successful, the Success page is displayed.
