Create logical volume lvol5

# Lvcreate-L 20480 M-n lvol5/dev/vg01

Note: lvol5 is the name of lv.

Use the character device file (with r) to create a new file system in the logical volume rlvol5

# Newfs/dev/vg01/rlvol5

Or

# Newfs-f fstype/dev/vg01/rlvol5

 

Mount logical volume

# Mount/dev/vg01/lvol5/oracle_arch

Note:
First, the above is lvol5 without r
Second:/oracle_arch the owner of this file is an oracle user: chown oracle: oinstall/oracle_arch
