The simulator is Windows Mobile 5.0 smartphone R2 qvga emulartor (Windows Mobile 5.0 PPC R2 emulartor is also available)
1. Open Visual Studio 2008
2. click Tools ---> connect to device (this step can also be implemented directly in Step 4, namely, device emulator manager. If you right-click Windows Mobile 5.0 for smartphone R2 qvga emulartor, click "Connect" to start the simulator.) under platform, select Windows Mobile 5.0 smartphone SDK and Windows Mobile 5.0 for smartphone R2 qvga emulartor under devices.
3. Click OK to connect. When the connection is successful, the following prompt appears.
Click Close.
4. click Tools ----> device emulator manager. In the open device emulator manager window, click Windows Mobile 5.0 smartphone SDK to expand the smartphone devices and simulators, you can see a green icon in front of Windows Mobile 5.0 for smartphone R2 qvga emulartor,
Indicates that the simulator has been connected successfully. Right-click Windows Mobile 5.0 for smartphone R2 qvga emulartor and click cradle.
The icon in front of Windows Mobile 5.0 for smartphone emulator has also changed
5. open ActiveSync 4.5, click the file --> connection settings, of course, you must attach the permitted DMA to the hook, and then click "Connect", sync will find the current connected device (USB, DMA, COM1, com2 ...)
6. find the simulator and prompt you to set the connection. In the meantime, you will be asked if you have set the Exchange server address and logged on information. If your outlook has set the account and exange server, skip this step, it is automatically bound to the simulator;
7. Set synchronization, select the items to be synchronized, and determine how to deal with the synchronization status conflict between the connected device and outlook.
8. Save settings... you can see that ActiveSync has become a synchronization icon, and your synchronization project should be displayed on the smart phone interface!
