Open the settings of Camtasia Recorder and find the [Audio device] "Audio device" option under the [Audio] tab. You can see that only one of the Audio devices here is the microphone, therefore, the source of the recorded sound is only the microphone sound, which cannot be recorded on the computer.

 

Then, let's look at how to solve this problem:

 

1. Right-click the sound icon in the lower right corner and select [Recording Device:

 

2. open the [recording] menu under the [sound] tab and you can see that the recording device only has one microphone, that's why there is only one microphone option under the [Audio] setting option of CamtasiaRecorder, because your computer only provides this recording device!

 

3. Then, right-click the interface and select [show disabled devices] under the pop-up menu:

 

4. A [Stereo Sound mixing] device is displayed, but it is in disabled status.
