In Windows 7, the taskbar prompts "Intel (R) fast storage technology is not running" solution

Fault symptom:

 

Intel (R) RST is intel's fast storage service, intel rapidst, which provides higher performance and reliability for desktops, mobile computers, and server platform systems equipped with SATA disks. When one or more SATA disks are used, you can benefit from performance improvement and reduced power consumption. When multiple disks are used, data loss protection can be enhanced during disk failure. Before installing Intel Quick storage service, you must enable the AHCI mode in BIOS. Many computer users will find that the Intel (R) Rapid status is Intel (R) RST service is not running, right-click to open the Intel fast storage technology center will prompt that the application cannot be opened, please reinstall or restart.

 

Solution:

1. Confirm the working mode of the hard disk in the bios of the motherboard. For a single hard disk, set it to AHCI. For multiple disks, choose RAID or AHCI;

2. Right-click the computer icon on the desktop-manage-services and applications-services, or use the Wiindows logo key + R key combination to open the running window and enter services. run the msc command to open the service window, as shown in the following figure:

3. Find the Intel (R) quick Storage Technology and double-click it to display it in Chinese. If no Chinese is found, contact Intel (R) Rapid Storage Technology, as shown in the figure:

4. In the properties window of Intel fast storage technology, change the startup type to automatic. If the service status is stopped, click start to start the service-application-OK, as shown in the figure:

Note:If a third-party computer manager, such as 360 security guard, is installed, go to the boot acceleration area of the computer manager and set the Intel Rapid Storage startup project (Intel (R) Rapid Storage Technology) to boot automatically, instead of blocking.

5. Click dependency to view the service processes related to Intel's quick storage. Find the Windows Management Insttumentation and Remote Producer Call (RPC) services in sequence, as shown in the following figure:

6. Set the start type of Windows Management Insttumentation and Remote Producer Call (RPC) to start-application-OK, as shown in the following figure:

7. Restart the computer if it still does not work, go to the official website of the model-select the appropriate operating system-download the Intel (R) quick Storage Technology Intel (R) Rapid Storage Technology driver and reinstall it.

8. The status of Intel's quick storage center is a green check, indicating that Intel (R) quick storage technology is running. Of course, this service is unstable, and sometimes it is not running without any problems, and the next day it is normal again, this may exist.
