In Windows Mobile, the cellular emulator and device emulator cannot be connected. How can this problem be solved?

If you want to use a simulator to test the GPRS connectivity, the connection between cellular emulator and device emulator will fail. For how to connect and communicate with cellular emulator and device emulator, refer to cellular emulator in the Windows Mobile 6 SDK of instructor Li Bo. The following describes the connection steps:

 

2. 1. Write down the COM port number of the status bar in the lower left corner of cellular emulator. Such as com5
4. 2. Select"File --> Configure..."Menu item, openEmulator PropertiesDialog Box

8. 4. Enter the COM port number you noted downSerial Port 0Text Box. If you cannot find your port number in the drop-down list, you can enter it yourself.

12. 6. Click"File --> Reset --> soft"Menu item to perform soft reset operations on the simulator

 

 

After the above method is used, the connection still fails (the connection was successful when the method was used for the first time the previous day ). Finally, I found many methods and finally succeeded:

 1.Make sure all the above steps have been completed

 2.Open cellular emulator and enter"Configuration"Page, you will see"Reset"Button, such as 1. Click"Reset".

 3.Now try againSoft StartDevice emulator

After the device emulator is started, you can use cellular emulator to call and send messages.
