IP ( Ingress Protection) protection class

The 1th number indicates that the appliance is dustproof and prevents ingress of foreign material,

The 2nd number indicates the tightness of the appliance against moisture and water ingress,

Larger numbers indicate higher levels of protection.

3	Prevents ingress of solids larger than 2.5mm in diameter	Prevents the penetration of tools, wires, and similar small external objects with diameters or thicknesses greater than 2.5mm in contact with parts inside the appliance
4	Prevents ingress of solids larger than 1.0mm in diameter	Prevents the penetration of tools, wires, and similar small external objects with diameters or thicknesses greater than 1.0mm in contact with parts inside the appliance
5	Prevention of foreign matter and dust	Completely prevent foreign intrusion, although not completely prevent dust intrusion, but the amount of dust intrusion will not affect the normal operation of electrical appliances
6	Prevention of foreign matter and dust	Completely prevent the ingress of foreign matter and dust

IP Waterproof

1	Prevent water droplets from invading	Water droplets falling vertically (e.g. condensate) do not cause damage to the appliance.
2	Can still prevent water droplets from entering when tilted at 15 degrees	When the appliance is tilted vertically to 15 degrees, dripping water will not cause damage to the appliance.
3	Prevent water ingress from spraying	Protection against rain or damage caused by water being sprayed in the direction of a vertical angle less than 60 degrees
4	Prevent splash of water intrusion	Prevents damage from splashing water in all directions from invading electrical appliances
5	Prevent water ingress from spraying	Prevents damage from ingress of water by nozzles from all directions
6	Prevent big waves from invading	Electrical appliances installed on deck to prevent damage caused by the invasion of big waves
7	Prevention of water ingress during immersion	The appliance is immersed in water for a certain period of time or under a certain standard to ensure that no damage is caused by flooding
8	To prevent water intrusion when sinking	The appliance sinks indefinitely under the specified water pressure to ensure that no damage is caused by flooding
