Selenium consists of a series of automated test tools that automate testing in different ways and are open source automated testing tools. The Selenium IDE is a tool for developing selenium test cases. It is a plugin for Firefox. Recently began to learn selenium automated testing, my reference book is written by Winsoejan "0 cost to achieve Web Automation testing", I hope to understand the essence of open source automation testing.

1. Download the Selenium IDE Plugin

Start Firefox via address http://docs.seleniumhq.org/download/download Selenium IDE plugin (this address has now been wall, I was downloaded via VPN wall), now the latest version is 2.9.1

2.firefox Add component Notification selection allows

3. Click Install Now for selenium installation

4. After the installation is complete, restart the Firefox browser, see the Selenium IDE on the Tools menu, and you can see the Selenium IDE on the Quick Access menu bar

5. Click the Tools menu or the Selenium IDE on the Quick menu bar to launch the Selenium IDE
