Insert a photo with mail merge in Word

1, build Excel table, photo address must use absolute address, such as: e:\\abc\\cef\\abcd.jpg such a format ( in Excel address image );

2. Open the Mail Merge toolbar in Word and open the corresponding Excel file in the data source;

3, in order to insert the photo, open the "Insert" menu "field" command, in the "Domain name" item, select "IncludePicture", and then in the middle of the dialog box "file name" at random enter a few letters;

4, the document will display an image placeholder, select, press alt+f9 (field code switch), see the code, select just a few letters, then click the "Insert Field" button in the "Mail Merge" toolbar, select the "Photos" item,

Note: If the photo is incomplete, insert a text box (the text box can resize, position, display, and so on), insert the text box as a photo into the position, repeat the 3rd, 4 steps (the mail merge photo fails by setting text wrapping).

5, at this time, the basic operation has been completed, and then press ALT+F9 switch back to the standard interface ( if the photo size is not appropriate, you can adjust the image length and width, display aspects by adjusting the text box to set ), and then preview it.

6. "Merge to New document" On the right side of the "Mail Merge" toolbar, click to import the result into a new document, then select All in the new document, press F9 refresh, you will see the result, that is, everyone can display their own photos correctly.

If you use the text box to place the photo, you F9 refresh the photo in a row, and the photo corresponds to the other field values.

Note: 3-6 steps do not "save" operation, otherwise the merge result is always the first photo, F9 refresh also useless! Because of a disk, the system automatically saves the photo as a 1th record, and then exports the document, showing only the first person's photos.

Finally, make sure that the merged new documents are correct and can be saved.
