The method is very simple. to install a new font for OpenOffice, you only need to copy the corresponding font files in Windows to the font directory of OpenOffice.

In Windows, the font storage location is usually:

C: \ WINDOWS \ Fonts

In Linux, the font directory of OpenOffice is usually:

/Usr/lib/openoffice. org2.0/share/fonts/truetype

The bold content in the above path usually varies depending on the operating system release version and the software version, for example, in my 64-bit FC7 (Fedora Core 7) the font directory of OpenOffice on is:

/Usr/lib64/openoffice.org/#/fonts/truetype

To use the new font, you may need to restart OpenOffice.
