Install and configure SAGE in Debian4

Debian4 SAGE installation and configuration-Linux Release Technology-Debian information. The following is a detailed description. Prerequisites:
Dev2005.2.tar. Z File
Idl.tar.gz File
Signa users use csh, main directory/export/home/signa

Installation Process

Select the installation directory/export/home/signa/sage
Uncompress dev2005.2.tar. Z/export/home/signa/sage

Tar xovf dev2005.2.tar/export/home/signa/sage

Tar xvfz idl.tar.gz/export/home/signa/sage

Modify configuration. sagerc

Cp ~ /Sage/. sagerc_dev ~ /. Sagerc # copy the template file to the user directory

Gedit. sagerc
Setenv GE_SAGE_DIR/export/home/signa/sage
Set IDL_SETUP =/export/home/signa/sage/idl/bin/idl_setup
Set path = ($ path $ GE_SAGE_DIR/bin)
Setenv SAGE_DATABASE/export/home1/sagedata
Modify configurations ~ /Sage/idl/bin/idl. setup # modify the default startup path of IDL

Gedit idl. setup
Setenv RSI_DIR/export/home/signa/sage
Modify/etc/csh. login # modify the csh environment variable

Source $ FILE;
Source ~ /. Sagerc;

Run the configuration file

Source ~ /. Sagerc
