Install and uninstall VMware in CentOS 7
Notes for installing and uninstalling VMware in CentOS 7.
1. Install the bundle file of VMware
Find the vmware bundle file under the terminal of the year
Method 1: (recommended)
VMware-Workstation-Full-10.0.2-1744117.x86_64.bundle
Bash VMware-Workstation-Full-10.0.2-1744117.x86_64.bundle
Method 2:
Grant execution permission and then run
Chmod + x VMware-Workstation-Full-10.0.2-1744117.x86_64.bundle
/VMware-Workstation-Full-10.0.2-1744117.x86_64.bundle
Ps: slash/the dot above cannot be omitted
Ps: Install VM10.02 in CentOS 7. When the VM is started, the kernel fails to load the module. The following error message is displayed.
In the vmware-modconfig-15405.log diary File
Tip: Failed to find/lib/modules/3.10.0-123.9.2.el7.x86 _ 64/build/include/linux/version. h

Ii. Uninstall VMware
Vmware-installer-u vmware-player
Unmount
The method for uninstalling Workstation is the same. Enter
Vmware-installer-u vmware-workstation
Ps: the above operations are all performed under root. If something is wrong, please point it out.
