2. Download The mkflash script and the logrotate. conf file at the following address:

3. Install IPCop V1.4.18 in the vmwarevm platform software.

4. Upload mkflash and logrotate. conf to the IPCop V1.4.18 System of VMware and execute the following command:
Chmod + x mkflash &./mkflash 512 hdc

5. Write the CF card in the host. The command is as follows:

6. Insert the CF card into the motherboard slot of the running machine, start the running machine and enter the BIOS, and adjust the Startup Device

Important Notes about device numbers:
1) if the external memory only flash card (remove the hard disk and optical drive), In the BIOS set the first boot device value: HDD-0;
2). If the external memory contains hard disk and flash card (remove the optical drive), In the BIOS set the first boot device value: HDD-1,
That is, the hard disk will occupy the HDD-0;
3) grub numbers the CF card as hd0 and the hard disk as hd1, which is opposite to BIOS recognition;
4). After Entering the Linux system, the CF card device name is/dev/hdc, And the IDE Hard Drive Device Name Is/dev/hda;
