Taking the installation and uninstallation of the font as an example, because I am a dual system, I copied the msyh directly from Vista. ttf and msyhbd. ttf to Ubuntu 1. Create a folder under/usr/share/fonts/, for example: yaheisudomkdir/usr/share/fonts/yahei2, and then copy the font file to sudocp in this folder [path + *. ttf]/usr/share/fonts/yahe
Take the installation and uninstallation of the font as an Example
Because I am a dual system, I copied msyh. ttf and msyhbd. ttf from Vista to Ubuntu.
1. Create a folder under/usr/share/fonts/, for example, yahei.
Sudo mkdir/usr/share/fonts/yahei
2. Copy the font file to this folder.
Sudo cp [path + *. ttf]/usr/share/fonts/yahei
3. Then, change the permission:
Sudo chmod 644/usr/share/fonts/yahei/*. ttf
(The permission for modifying the font file is 644, that is, the current user reads and writes, the current group user reads and writes, and other users read-only)
4. Start installation:
Cd/usr/share/fonts/yahei/
Sudo mkfontscale
(Create the fonts. scale file of the font to control the font rotation and scaling)
Sudo mkfontdir
(Create the fonts. dir file of the font, which is used to control the generation of the font in italic)
Sudo fc-cache-fv
(Font cache information is created to let the system know)
8. sudo gedit/etc/fonts/language-selector.conf
(Open the language selection setting file)
Find
Bitstream Vera Serif
Bitstream Vera Sans
Bitstream Vera Sans Mono
Add
Microsoft YaHei
5. In the menu, choose system> preferred current> font to find ""
6. Delete the font, directly Delete the yehei folder, and then sudo fc-cache-fv
