First, install FindBugs. It is said that FindBugs has its own visual UI, but I still like using Eclipse plug-ins.

I believe everyone is familiar with installing the Eclipse plug-in. I encountered some minor problems when installing the service again: the installation address provided on the Internet always prompts no results. After some searches, the official website provided three address backups:

I cannot find the content when I use the first search, and the second and third search are acceptable.

After the installation is complete, restart Eclipse and find that the findbugs trace is not found. Why?

It turns out that the new version of FindBugs is automatically installed through the web site, while the new version of FindBugs requires higher jdk support. The findbugs I installed is version 3.0, jdk 1.7 or above is required. If this happens, you can try a later version of jdk.

After the installation is complete, it is relatively easy to use.

When you click the project file or directory, you will find that the Findbugs menu is missing, for example:

After you click "OK", the analysis result is displayed. FindBugs divides the problem into four levels based on the severity of the problem. Each level is also categorized by category, which is very convenient, try it!
