This article uses the virtual desktop management program in PVS to create n virtual desktops that serve thin clients. The host can be VMware or xen server.
From the PVS disc, click the xen desktop setup tool folder under the 2K3 directory to open the appropriate x86 or x64 Installation File. If we are x86, click xendesktopsetupwizard to start installation.
Agree to the agreement and proceed
Installation location confirmation
Click Install to start installation.
Click finsh to complete installation
Find the Administrator tools from the Citrix sub-menu in the Start Program to open the management program.
Click nexy to start the next step.
Select a group on DDC to start the operation.
Select the host that provides the virtual desktop as xen server or VMWare, enter the IP address of xenserver below, and then click Next next
Enter the root account and password of xen.
After the connection is established, the template pvs vm temp we just created on the xen server is displayed. Select the template and click Next.
Select storage. By default, only one storage is available.
Select the number of virtual desktops to be created on the xen Server 2 and the virtual desktop computing group. The names of the virtual desktops created subsequently are vdgroup1 and vdgroup2.
Select the ou in the ad, and you can specify the xendesktop ou by default.
Click the group name of the virtual desktop on the DDC Server

Click finsh to close the program.
On PVS, you can see the disk required by the new vdgroup.
You can see the desktop group on the DDC Server
You can see the two virtual desktops created on the xen server.
Next, set the vdgroup attribute on the DDC server, change the pool attribute to 331, and click OK to complete the configuration. Next, you can connect to VDI on the thin client.
