Install Apt-Fast to speed up apt-get download

Sudo add-apt-repository ppa: tldm217/tahutek.net

Sudo apt-get update

Sudo apt-get install apt-fast

There are also two alternatives to Apt-Fast.

Apt-proz: it uses another multi-thread download tool prozilla as the download acceleration tool. Its usage is similar to apt-fast.

You can install ppa: tldm217/tahutek.net:

Sudo apt-add-repository ppa: tldm217/tahutek.net

Sudo apt-get update

Sudo apt-get install apt-proz

Apt-metalink: It can download the deb package from multiple Ubuntu source images at the same time and use Aria2 as the acceleration download tool.
