The GLScene open-source Library provides an OpenGL-based 3D framework for Delphi. With GLScene components, you can easily create and render your 3D scenes. Surprisingly, there is no complete installation instruction on the network for such an excellent open-source library, and even the official documentation of GLScene itself is incomplete.
Based on this situation, I think it is necessary to share with you the complete installation steps of the GLScene library. My practical environment is Windows XP + Delphi 6.0 + Delphi Web ScriptII 2.0 + GLScene 1000714. If you have different installation versions, you may need to make some modifications.
For ease of description, Here {Delphi} is used to represent the installation directory of Delphi, {dwⅱ} is the decompressed directory of Delphi Web ScriptII, and {GLScene} is the decompressed directory of GLScene. For the Delphi Web ScriptII library and GLScene library, you can also directly obtain the complete compressed package through the relevant links above.
In the Library Path list of Delphi, add the following Path:

Search for SDL in {GLScene. dll, cg. dll, cgGL. dll, ode. dll, bass. dll and fmod. dll, copy all of them to the {Delphi} \ Projects \ Bpl directory, and install {dwⅱ} \ Delphi6 \ dws2VCLRuntime. finally, install the GLScene6.dpk, GLS_SDL6.dpk, GLCg6.dpk, GLS_ODE6.dpk, GLS_DWS6.dpk, GLSS_BASS6.dpk, GLS_DWS6.dpk, GLSS_BASS6.dpk.
