Install eclipse indigo 3.7.2ubuntu 12.04

Before installing eclipse, follow the steps in install JDK 1.7 under Ubuntu.

 

Ubuntu version: 12.04 lts

Eclipse version:Eclipse INDIGO (3.7.2) for Java EE Developers

Installation Directory:/usr/local/development/eclipse-Indigo-3.7.2

 

1. Open the websiteHttp://www.eclipse.org/downloads/To download the corresponding eclipse version.

2. decompress the downloaded file/Usr/local/development/eclipse-Indigo-3.7.2Directory.

3. SetEclipseExecution file Symbolic Link/Usr/local/bin.

CD/usr/local/BinSudo Ln-S/usr/local/development/eclipse-Indigo-3.7.2/Eclipse
 

4.Use commandsEclipseCheck whether the installation is successful.
