Install eclipse multi-country Language Pack

Since version 3.2.1, eclipse does not support language packs. Versions later than 3.2.1 are provided by the eclipse Babel project of another sub-project.Here we use simplified Chinese as an example to describe how to install a URL-based plug-in.

I. Babel project
At eclipse 3.2.1, the eclipse official website provides multilingual language packs. Since 3.2.1, multi-language support has been provided by the eclipse Babel project Subproject.

The latest version is 0.8.1.

2. Select the plug-in Installation Method
Eclipse plug-ins can be installed in the following ways:
1. Links Mode
This method is more complex, but the plug-in is easy to install and uninstall.
For language packs, you can download the required language pack Babel Language Pack zips from the Babel project:

2. url-based plug-in Installation Method
This method is implemented with the online installation function provided by ECLIPSE, which is simple and easy.

Then, open eclipse, and click Help-> install new software... Click Add in work with in the pop-up window, and then add the Babel update address (http://download.eclipse.org/technology/babel/update-site/R0.8.1/helios) for the corresponding eclipse version ):

※I am using Helios, that is, eclipse 3.6. Eclipse 3.5/3.4/3.3 corresponds to Galileo/Ganymede/Europa respectively. The preceding address cannot be used directly. It can only be installed online through eclipse.

Eclipse will automatically go to the server to find various language packs. It takes a long time and "pending" is always displayed. As long as the network is connected, please be patient. Until the list of all language packs is displayed (but the translation progress of many packages is not 100%, no way, such as voluntary projects ). Then select the required language Pack:

Click "Next" to start the installation. Some protocol confirmation information will be prompted. After the installation is complete, remember to restart eclipse.

3. switch to English
If the environment behind the Startup File eclipse.exe fails to adapt, or its original cause causes, you can add the-nl en_us parameter after the startup execution file eclipse.exe, to switch back to the English environment.
