Installation
There are three ways of installing
- Build Your own installation
- Installing with Yum
- Download the already compiled
1 Compiling your own installation
Compile and install the method can refer to here Https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/CompilationGuide/Centos
And a script that's automatically installed.
Experimental results: It worked
A small problem is
Https://chromium.googlesource.com/webm/libvpx.git
This source code address may have been sealed off and try to download it yourself.
One big problem is that it's not quite consistent with a brew installed under the Mac. The parameters of the ffmpeg are too complex, and the subsequent conversion parameters are not recognized.
2 Installing with Yum
Install the source of Rpmforge after installing via Yum
YUM-UVH http://apt.sw.be/redhat/el6/en/x86_64/rpmforge/RPMS/rpmforge-release-0.5.3-1.el6.rf.x86_64.rpm
Yum Install FFmpeg Ffmpeg-devel
The installed version is FFmpeg 0.5.x
Version older can be installed with the source of Rpmfusion
RPM-UVH Http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/el/updates/6/x86_64/rpmfusion-free-release-6-1.noarch.rpmyum Remove FFmpeg ffmpeg-devel need to uninstall first, then install or conflict yum install FFmpeg ffmpeg-devel
The weird thing is that the same source, the same system, the two machines, the results are different.
CENTOS6.4 2.6.32-358.el6.x86_64
One of them is ffmpeg 0.10.111 are ffmpeg version n-64310-gf054d1e
3 Download the compiled version directly

This version ffmpeg 2.3.3
The last choice, the front is white toss
and Java Integration
The integration method is as follows:
Conversion efficiency This parameter time is basically equal to long time conversion. The efficiency is not good to listen to a different company said they do video conversion can do 8 hours of video 1 hours to turn the end.
Install FFmpeg in Centos6.4 and integrate video conversion services in the website
