Install ArcGIS Server 9.3.1

The loss of documents is not avoided. I think it is better to organize the documents on the Internet and query them later.

The general installation process is as follows:

 

1)Install ArcGIS server9.3.1Preparations

A) Iis 5.1 and above

B) Microsoft. NET freamwork 2.0 or above

2) Start installing ArcGIS Server 9.3.1

A) Select the first item to start installation.

 

B) Installation Options

ArcGIS Server consists of three parts: Web server, GIS server, and data. The Web server receives external requests and forwards the requests to the GIS server. The GIS server reads data (file, SDE) based on the request content. After processing the data, the web server returns the results to the user.

 

C) ArcGIS Server Instance name

D) Complete installation

3)Configure ArcGIS Server 9.3.1

A) post installation setup

B)

 

C) GIS server configuration interface (user settings for som, Soc, and WebServices)

 

 

D) GIS server storage directory and Web Server Service name

 

 

 

E) You need to submit a summary of the installation information (add the SOM, Soc, WebServices account, service output directory, and virtual directory)

 

F) Information Summary after submission (tell you what it has done)

G) import the license and install ArcGIS Server.

 

 

 

4) Run ArcGIS Server Manager

A) Right click "my computer" → "manage" → select "Current Login User" (for example, my account is administrator) → "attribute"

 

 B) check whether there are two user groups: agsadmin and agsusers.

 

The agsadmin group must contain system logon users and arcgiswebserver users;

The agsusers group must contain arcgiswebserver

After the settings are completed, log out of the computer.

After cancellation,

Open ArcGIS-> ArcGIS Server for the Microsoft. net Framework-> ArcGIS Server Manager. Enter the user name "Administrator \ arcgiswebservices" in the user name. The password is the password when you configure arcgiswebservices. If you log on with another user name, the password is the password. After successful logon, you can publish the corresponding ArcGIS Server service.

Note: The folders of data to be published must be shared when the service is published using ArcGIS Server Manager.
