Install CentOS on VMware and CentOS on VMware
1. Download VMware
2. Prepare the CentOS image file.
3. Open VMware to create a new Virtual Machine
Select Custom advanced and click Next
Continue to the next step
Choose to install the operating system later
Select Linux as the client operating system, and CentOS 64-bit as the version (My CentOS is 64-bit)
Set Virtual Machine name and installation path
Allocate Processor
Set VM memory
Use Network Address Translation (NAT Mode)
Select recommended
Create a new Virtual Disk
Allocate disk size and select to save the Virtual Machine disk as a single file
Select the location where the disk is created
Complete
In virtual machine settings, find CD/DVD (IDE), select "use ISO image file" on the right side, and find the downloaded CentOS ISO file.
Click Finish to enable the virtual machine.
Wait until the check is complete and you will be able to go to the installation. If you don't want to wait, Press ESC to exit. It doesn't matter ..
Next, you can enter the graphical installation interface.
Select language
Select installation source to open
Click Select Software
Select GNOME desktop and select
Click the network and host name to open the network.
Next, mount the file directory to the disk.
Click to accept changes
When everything is ready, click Start installation in the lower right corner.
Installing
During installation, you can set the root password and create a common account.
After the installation is complete, click restart
Enter the interface after restart
Select language
Then CentOS7 is installed.
