Install flash builder 4.5 in Linux (UBUNTU)

After checking online, the official website does not seem to provide flash builder 4.5 download. However, since it is based on Eclipse, it should be able to be installed in Linux.

First, install eclipse

Sudo apt-Get install eclipse

Then, download the eclipse flash builder plug-in

Finally, install and run

Whereis eclipse

You can view the installation path of eclipse. The path here is/usr/lib/Eclipse/

Decompress the downloaded plug-in to/usr/lib/Eclipse/flashbuilder4.5:

Tar xjvf burrito4linux.tar.bz2 sudo MV Eclipse/usr/lib/Eclipse/flashbuilder4.5

Create the links directory in/usr/lib/Eclipse/and create the flashbuilder. Link file under the links directory. The file content is:

Path = flashbuilder4.5

Restart eclipse. If the above configuration is correct, flash builder 4.5 will be installed successfully.
